Driving on a NASCAR track...with MY car!

It's not every day that someone gets to drive on a real NASCAR track. But during Christmas time, Lowes Motor Speedway has a light show in the middle of the speedway where folks can drive around and view it from the comfort of their own car. And the fun part is that you also get to drive around the burm at turn 2 too!

A White Christmas

Not since '47 has it snowed on Christmas in this area. What fun for our kids who have never seen snow!

Jesus speaks Mbaka

While reading this week about Jesus' birth I was reminded of these four boys. I was visiting their village in D. R. Congo and these young students read to me in their mother tongue of Mbaka. I later learned that they were reading from the book of Mathew in the Bible, 1.18-21 to be exact.

Let us be mindful and thankful, just like the Mbaka, for verse 21: "And she will bring forth a Son and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins."
